Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Field Service Technician to perform meter reads, service taps, and water mains support. You will collect water samples, operate field equipment, and assist with SCADA/controls installation with supervision.

The role requires household- and community-facing responsibilities and flexibility for on-call shifts. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 2 years in the water utility sector, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn Google-based programs.
• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years in water utility preferred.
• Able to work independently and stay organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service orders, read and test customer meters.
• Collect water samples and assist with field maintenance of mains and lines.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with T&D/SCADA teams.
• Rotate weekday/weekend on-call; overtime as needed.
