Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater facility projects across the southern region, from pre-construction to completion. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes and budgets, oversee design coordination, construction, commissioning, and handover, while ensuring safety and quality at every stage.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with travel to project sites and ongoing engagement

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience in water, wastewater, civil engineering or industrial construction sectors.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project controls, health and safety legislation and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies, risk registers and quality plans.
• Oversee design coordination, construction activities, commissioning and handover, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, review costs and forecasts, resolve issues and manage variations with commercial awareness.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture and lead regular progress meetings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and project partners.
