Job summary

EBA Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects from planning through construction in the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will own project scope, schedule, budgets, and client relationships while guiding design teams and coordinating with stakeholders. Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a ABET-accredited civil or environmental engineering degree, and proven experience delivering water infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience managing planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of water distribution and wastewater systems and design standards.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Managing water and wastewater projects from initial planning and design through bidding and construction.
• Leading design and rehabilitation of water distribution and wastewater infrastructure.
• Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Serving as primary client contact and maintaining relationships throughout project delivery.
• Coordinating activities with clients, regulators, utilities, subconsultants, and contractors.
• Mentoring engineers and technical staff and coordinating workloads.
• Reviewing calculations, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Providing technical direction through planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction.
• Managing project budgets, invoicing, staffing, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinating permitting and regulatory requirements with agencies.
• Participating in project meetings, design reviews, site visits, and field investigations.
• Overseeing bid-phase and construction-phase activities, submittals, RFIs, and design changes.
• Identifying challenges and developing approaches to maintain progress.
• Supporting proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
