Hires Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to lead regional water and wastewater projects, guiding a growing team from planning through delivery.

You will build relationships with municipal clients as a seller/doer, mentor engineers and PMs, and oversee budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 12+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

The job:

• As a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater, you will lead the regional water and wastewater team, overseeing complex infrastructure projects from initial planning through final delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients while serving as a trusted seller/doer who moves critical community projects forward.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers and project managers.
• Direct project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful outcomes.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater work, including treatment facility design, distribution and collection systems, pump stations, lift stations, asset management, and regional planning.
