Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water mains, service lines, valves, hydrants, and related infrastructure.
• Support excavation, trenching, and backfilling with safety compliance.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment including hand and power tools.
• Inspect distribution systems for leaks or maintenance needs.
• Assist in locating underground utilities prior to excavation.
• Respond to water main breaks, leaks, and emergency calls, including after-hours.
• Collect field data and document work performed.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments and vehicles.
• Comply with PPE, safety training, and certifications (First Aid/CPR, OSHA, etc.).
• Communicate with team and coordinate daily operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
