Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Water Distribution Operator I/II to support maintenance and operation of the California water distribution system. This role includes learning to install, repair and test mains, meters, valves and hydrants while interacting with customers and ensuring safe, reliable service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic PC skills, strong communication, a CA driver license, and relevant certification.

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and maintain the water distribution system.
• Assist in installing and servicing mains, meters and hydrants.
• Interact with customers and represent the company.
• Perform meter reads and field investigations.
• Prepare daily logs and reports; respond to outages and emergencies.
