Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design-build projects across the U.S. You will manage project teams on water-related initiatives, engage with clients and partners, and help expand the local market while pursuing new opportunities.

You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules, and quality, ensuring successful delivery from conception through completion on diverse water projects, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or 15+ years of field experience.
• Fifteen+ years experience in Design-Build of water/wastewater projects.
• CCM, PE, or Architect license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, contracts) on a single or multiple project assignments.
• Lead Design-Build processes, including cost estimating, risk quantifications, procurement, budgets & schedules.
• Manage project development from conception through completion (large and small).
• Manage budgets, schedules, scope, contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects.
• Review consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders; coordinate with Control Manager for reporting.
• Attend meetings to cover weekly job progress; issue minutes during design.
• Resolve complex construction issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Review status and monitor variances of the project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting.
• Maintain excellent client-facing communication.
