Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure design for local municipal clients. You will oversee scoping, planning, and delivery, ensuring quality and financial performance of the design team, while coordinating across multi-disciplinary groups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering with a focus on water/wastewater systems.
• Minimum 8 years engineering experience, with at least 3 years managing multidiscipline design teams.
• Construction background is applicable.
• Experience with Design-Build and/or EPC projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams through all phases of design planning, execution, and closeout to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate between multi-disciplinary teams for holistic design delivery.
• Interface with clients on multi-disciplinary design decisions.
• Ensure health, safety, quality, financial, and risk management requirements are met.
• Contribute to the Water Market Strategy and demonstrate leadership by example.
