Jacobs is seeking a Water Design-Build Design Manager in California to lead large, complex water and wastewater projects using Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and PPP models. This leadership role influences major infrastructure programs and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience managing complex multi-discipline water infrastructure projects, including Design-Build/Progressive Design Build/PPP.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) Registration.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to lead diverse teams in high-intensity settings.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary design teams across offices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Build relationships with contractors, clients, and stakeholders for alignment.
• Manage project performance via scheduling, earned value analysis, and cost control.
• Oversee contract execution, staffing, and project profitability.
• Represent Jacobs in client meetings, forums, and industry presentations.
• Support business development and growth of the national Design-Build practice.
• Ensure quality, coordination, client interface, staffing, and budget adherence.
