Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design-build projects across the U.S. You will drive delivery, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong client-facing communication and extensive design-build experience in water resources. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, managing contracts, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline (or 15+ years in the field in lieu of degree).
• At least 15 years of Design-Build experience in water/wastewater and/or conveyance work.
• CCM, PE or Architect license/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on one or multiple projects.
• Lead Design-Build process, including cost estimating, risk quantifications, procurement, budgets and schedules.
• Manage development from conception to completion per program objectives and control budgets and contracts.
• Review and approve consultant invoices, contractor pay applications and change orders; coordinate with Control Manager for reporting.
• Attend meetings and document progress; resolve complex construction issues and disputes.
• Communicate with clients and team partners; support business development by pursuing opportunities.
