Job summary
BELFOR is seeking a dedicated Water Damage Technician in Cantonment, FL to support mitigation efforts for clients. You will pump and extract water, remove mold, and operate specialized equipment under supervision, contributing to BELFOR's renowned service excellence.
Responsibilities include following MSDS protocols, inspecting vehicles, and building containment with advanced systems. A strong work ethic, reliable communication, and willingness to travel or work nights/weekends are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in water pumping and extraction.
- Experience with mold remediation.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Deliver high-quality customer service under supervision.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receive instructions from team leader and execute mitigation tasks.
- Follow MSDS protocols for chemical products used.
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean.
- Operate and maintain BELFOR water extraction and drying equipment.
- Construct containment systems (Neg Air, HEPA vacuum) as needed.
- Use meters and Injectidry/Directed-In/Octi-Dry systems correctly.
