Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking an experienced Water Damage Crew Chief to lead our restoration team on residential and commercial projects. You will supervise technicians, perform extraction and drying, and ensure safety, documentation, and customer communication.

The role requires professional water-damage experience, structural drying knowledge, and strong leadership. IICRC WRT is strongly preferred; ASD/AMRT certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead technicians and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on residential and commercial water losses.
• Perform water extraction and structural drying.

• Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and air filtration devices.
• Train and develop newer technicians.

ServiceMaster Restore is looking for an experienced Water Damage Crew Chief to join our restoration team.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with professional water mitigation experience who understands structural drying, can lead technicians, communicate with customers, and take ownership of a jobsite.

What You'll Do

• Lead technicians on residential and commercial water losses.
• Perform water extraction and structural drying.
• Inspect affected areas and identify moisture migration.
• Use moisture meters and other inspection equipment.
• Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and air filtration devices.
• Perform controlled demolition and containment.
• Protect customer property and maintain clean, safe jobsites.
• Direct daily crew activities and maintain production standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Complete accurate photos, moisture readings, and daily documentation.
• Use Restore 365, Mitigate, DocuSketch, and other company technology.
• Ensure crews follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Train and develop newer technicians.
• Communicate job conditions and changes to the Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Participate in emergency/on-call response as scheduled.
