Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Water Conveyance Engineer to design and support water and wastewater conveyance systems, including force mains and gravity sewers, from planning through construction.

You will develop hydraulic calculations, prepare drawings, specifications, and reports, and assist with RFI responses, shop drawings, and field issue resolution while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 3+ years of experience designing or supporting water and wastewater conveyance systems.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and pipe materials.
• Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including AWWA, ASTM, ASME, and local municipal requirements.
• Experience using engineering design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, construction teams, and clients.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed to support design and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Designing or supporting water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure.
• Develop hydraulic calculations and models.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Support construction through RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and field issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Contribute to constructability reviews, bypass planning, value engineering, cost estimates, and scheduling.
