Job summary

Michels Corporation's Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Water Conveyance Engineer to design and support water and wastewater infrastructure.

You will develop hydraulic calculations, prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports, and assist construction through RFIs and shop drawing reviews. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and 3+ years' experience in conveyance systems, with strong communication and travel willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 3+ years of experience designing or supporting water and wastewater conveyance systems.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and pipe materials.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and clients.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and support water and wastewater conveyance systems.
• Develop hydraulic calculations and models.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support construction through RFIs, shop drawings, and field issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations; contribute to constructability reviews.
