Job summary

Orenco Systems is seeking a Water Controls Product Manager to drive market leadership in onsite wastewater solutions. You will own the product category from concept through launch, coordinating with engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver differentiated alarm and control products.

The role requires 3–5 years in product management or related roles, knowledge of wastewater systems, and willingness to travel up to 25% to support field activities and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in product management, advanced technical support, engineering, or sales leadership roles.
• Knowledge of onsite wastewater industry and motor control/monitoring systems.
• Ability to learn new products quickly and work in regulated environments.
• Willingness to travel 10%–25% and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute market research to voice customer needs and identify growth areas.
• Communicate market needs to R&D for differentiated offerings.
• Review costs and margins with manufacturing to meet targets.
• Provide product training to sales and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed product plans including markets, value, and marcomm plans.
• Support field sales with demonstrations, training, and technical support.
• Attend industry shows to convey leadership and collect feedback.
• Lead cross-functional product launches with marketing, finance, and engineering.
• Coordinate product quality issue investigations and prioritize design-related cases.
