Job summary

HDR is seeking a PA/OH/WV/DE Water Construction Management Lead in Columbus, OH to coordinate, monitor and improve field services staff, delivering projects and meeting client needs. This senior role reports to Area Water Business Group Manager and collaborates with market sector leads.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or related field, 10+ years in construction management, and proven ability to develop business, manage client relationships, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, planning or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.
• Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
• Experience in overall staff development including recruiting, career path and professional growth.
• Experience with industry associations and maintaining a visible market presence.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of field services staff and products with a focus on meeting client needs and market drivers.
• Staff supervision and development; assist leadership with recruiting for key hires.
• Develop and pursue new clients and projects; manage client relationships.
• Lead Marketing and Strategy efforts and represent HDR in industry groups and events.
• Deliver and support project delivery through coordination with managers and technical staff.
