Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance professional in Phoenix, AZ to ensure adherence to SDWA, CWA, and ADEQ rules. The role includes managing AZPDES/NPDES and drinking water permits, plus supervising monitoring, reporting and records.

You will lead inspections, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions across utility and industrial environments. The position requires 5+ years in environmental compliance, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of water

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience within water treatment, wastewater treatment, water utilities, or related industries.
• Experience managing environmental permits, regulatory reporting, inspections, and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SDWA, CWA, ADEQ regulations and local requirements.
• Manage regulatory permits including AZPDES/NPDES and drinking water system permits.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, sampling, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and agency interactions with ADEQ and EPA.
• Investigate permit exceedances and incidents; implement corrective actions.
• Develop environmental programs, policies and training.
• Support capital projects by incorporating environmental requirements into upgrades.
• Track regulatory changes and maintain ongoing compliance.
