Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Backflow Tester & F.O.G. Inspector in Bushnell, FL to protect water and wastewater systems. You will conduct backflow testing, F.O.G. inspections, and related compliance activities, while using CMMS to document results and generate required reports.

The role includes on-call duties with a weekly $200 bonus and potential overtime pay, and requires the ability to obtain a Florida DOT Medical Card for crane operations. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Florida driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Ability to obtain a Florida DOT Medical Card to operate a crane truck.
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds.
DOT background check, pre-placement physical, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Perform backflow testing of RPZ, PVB, and DC devices and related inspections.
Inspect grease interceptors, traps, and related plumbing to verify compliance and operation.
Educate regulated entities on BMPs to reduce FOG discharges.
Record data in CMMS and generate reports for regulatory submissions.
Communicate findings to municipalities, businesses, and clients.
