Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Backflow Tester & F.O.G. Inspector to protect the City of Bushnell's water and wastewater systems.

You will perform backflow testing, FOG inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting field operations across treatment plants and related facilities. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage inspections, data entry into CMMS, reporting, and customer education to reduce violations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Florida driver7s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Florida DOT Medical Card to operate a crane truck.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds.
• DOT background check.
• DOT pre-placement physical.
• DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine backflow testing and inspections of assemblies (RPZ, PVB, DC).
• Inspect grease interceptors, traps, and related plumbing for compliance.
• Educate regulated entities on BMPs to reduce F.O.G. discharges.
• Maintain CMMS records and generate reports for process control and regulatory submissions.
• Respond to regulatory and customer inquiries; coordinate issue resolution.
• Operate testing equipment and maintain inventory of parts and devices.

Able to lift 40 lbs

Crane operation eligibility

Education
