Job summary

The City of Anna, Texas is seeking a dedicated individual to operate, maintain, and control the city’s water and wastewater systems, including production, treatment, storage, distribution and collection facilities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus two years of experience, with a valid Class C driver's license and at least one applicable TCEQ license.

Qualifications

• High school or GED plus two (2) years of water or wastewater treatment experience.
• Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s license when hired.
• Must possess at least one C or higher TCEQ License in water or wastewater treatment.
• Ability to obtain TCEQ B water and B wastewater within 18 months of hire or promotion.
• Ability to obtain Class D Water Operator License issued by the TCEQ within 6 months of hire date.
• Ability to obtain Class C Groundwater Operator License within two years of hire date.
• Customer Service Inspector (CSI) or Backflow License is preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and MVR check.
