Job summary

Swatch Group is seeking a skilled Watchmaker to manage servicing from movement teardown to case assembly, aligning with Swatch Group brands. The role requires handling basic mechanical, quartz and chronograph movements, with a focus on precision and quality.

You will report to the Workshop Supervisor in a dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates should have an apprenticeship or post-apprenticeship training with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• For partial repair, watchmaking apprenticeship or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair (TAFE)
• For complete repair, completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results
• For specialist repair, knowledge of complicated movements or post-apprenticeship course such as WOSTEP

Responsibilities

• Full service on movements: dismantling, replacement/fixing parts, cleaning, reassemble, rate check and adjustment
• Repair and service on multiple brands per brand guidelines
• Analyze and decide proper methods to repair the movement
• Use or develop tools/processes to correct issues during repair
• Coordinate with team to maintain equipment, order consumables, ensure customer services are delivered
