Job summary

Swatch Group is seeking a skilled Watchmaker in the United States to oversee the watch repairing process—from servicing movements to assembling and encasing the movement. The Watchmaker reports to the Workshop Manager and primarily works on Swatch Group brands.

The role requires expertise in servicing basic mechanical and quartz movements as well as chronographs, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Watchmaking apprenticeship or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair or equivalent.
• Post-apprenticeship course such as WOSTEP is advantageous.
• Team player with the drive for excellence and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full service on movements: disassembly, parts replacement, cleaning, reassembly, rate check and adjustment.
• Repair and service multiple brands per guidelines.
• Analyze and decide proper repair methodologies and use appropriate tools to fix issues.
• Coordinate with the team to maintain equipment, order consumables and ensure watches are ready to wear.
