Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager, Marketing Planning and Strategy (Content Strategy Manager) to drive WatchFree+ content strategy using customer insights and data analytics. You’ll forecast performance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage budgets to align with strategic objectives.

You’ll mentor the team, lead collaboration with Product, Ads, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 1 year’s experience OR 5 years’ experience in marketing or related field.
• Masters: Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Experience in content strategy, development, or acquisition.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Manage the content budget, track spending, and address performance issues proactively.
• Develop and support ongoing performance reporting and engagement forecasting for WatchFree+.
• Create strategy documents with target audiences, objectives, budgets, and timelines for content tactics.
• Forecast deals and drive analyses for films, TV series, and FAST channels.
• Partner with Head of Content on strategic areas and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills and development.
