Job summary

VIZIO is seeking a Manager of Marketing Planning and Strategy (Content Strategy Manager) to shape WatchFree+ content strategy through data-driven insights, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership. You will oversee budgets, drive performance reporting, and mentor the team to deliver strategic content initiatives that grow audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; 1 year in marketing or related field OR 5 years in marketing or related field.
• Experience in content strategy, development or acquisition.
• Strong analytical skills leveraging data and market insights for decisions.
• Ability to build financial models and forecast budgets.
• Experience managing budgets and tracking performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the content budget, track spending and address performance issues.
• Develop and support performance reporting and engagement forecasting for WatchFree+.
• Create strategy documents with target audiences, objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Support Content Acquisition team in forecasting deals and performing comp analyses for films, TV, and FAST channels.
• Partner with Head of Content on strategic areas and cross-functional collaboration for WatchFree+ growth.
• Coach and mentor team members to develop skills.
