The role involves recording readings, adjusting chemical treatments, and coordinating with production to support safe operations.

The position requires hands-on work in a manufacturing setting, attention to process details, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Monitor readings of wastewater discharge and treat processes to meet specifications.
• Record pH levels, pump settings, and water flow data.
• Maintain documentation and logs for compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wastewater discharge and treatment processes to meet required specifications.
• Record pH levels, pump settings, water flows, and other required process information.
• Adjust chemical additives and fill treatment tanks as needed to maintain acceptable water quality.
• Monitor operating conditions and respond when readings fall outside expected ranges.
• Empty the filter press according to schedule.
• Coordinate tank-dump schedules with production personnel.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment and area.
• Assist with spill cleanup activities as needed.
• Serve as backup to Lab Technician for chemical analysis and additions.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate concerns when help is needed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
