Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing seeks a dedicated wastewater technician to ensure city discharges meet permit requirements. You will monitor flow, pH and chemical adjustments, recording data and maintaining equipment for reliable operation.

The role supports production, performs routine cleaning and spill response, and serves as a backup for lab analysis. On-site position with safety and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring wastewater discharge per regulatory specifications.
• Ability to record pH levels, pump settings, and water flows.
• Ability to work with chemicals and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wastewater discharge per regulatory specifications.
• Record pH levels, pump settings, and water flows.
• Fill chemical tanks as needed for continued wastewater treatment.
• Adjust chemical additives to meet Pioneer specifications.
• Empty filter press per schedule.
• Assist in spill cleanup operations.
• Maintain organized, clean operating area and equipment.
• Coordinate with production to maintain tank dump schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance of waste treatment equipment.
• Serve as back-up to Lab Tech for chemical analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
