Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a Wastewater Technician to ensure wastewater discharge meets regulatory permits. You will monitor, record, and adjust water quality parameters, and support treatment processes to keep operations compliant.

The role involves handling chemicals, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with production to manage tank dumps. This position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and following safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Monitor wastewater discharge per regulatory specifications.
• Record pH levels, pump settings, and water flows.
• Adjust chemical additives to meet Pioneer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wastewater treatment processes.
• Fill chemical tanks as needed for treatment.
• Assist in spill clean-up operations.
• Maintain organized and clean operating area; support tank dump schedules.
• Back-up to Lab Tech for chemical analysis.
