Job summary

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. in Shelbyville, Indiana seeks a skilled technician to perform water treatment, maintenance and related systems tasks that support daily plant operations.

You will help maintain equipment, document work orders and participate in safety and efficiency initiatives. Candidates should have 1+ years of relevant experience, basic electrical and plumbing knowledge, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Basic skills in electrical and plumbing trades.
• Forklift and high lift licenses.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Completes checklists and documentation related to water treatment, water softener, and compressed air systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a timely basis.
• Completes repairs to wastewater treatment equipment, water softener equipment and compressed air equipment as assigned.
• Completes repairs to fire protection system components as assigned.
• Responsible for proper documentation and record keeping.
• Supports "on-call" status as assigned among all technicians.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Assists Building & Grounds department with tasks and duties when available.
• Assists with special assignments during plant shut down periods.
