Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Middle Tennessee is seeking a field service wastewater technician to operate, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, and valves across Wilson and Williamson Counties. You’ll troubleshoot issues, monitor readings, and respond to service calls to keep neighborhood systems running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a wastewater license within a year, and solid mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Wastewater BNS/Collection systems license required after 1 year.
• Experience with decentralized wastewater collection and treatment systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with an understanding of wastewater treatment processes.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment safely and effectively.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair wastewater equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and promptly address leaks or malfunctions.
• Perform underground utility line locates per Tennessee 811 guidelines.
• Conduct tank inspections and complete required visits to treatment sites.
• Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to maintain proper system balance.
• Assist with maintenance and repair activities across the collection system.
• Respond to service calls in the field.
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance and repairs.
