Job summary

Rosina Food Products in West Seneca, NY is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator for 2nd or 3rd shifts to support and oversee wastewater systems in our food manufacturing facility.

You will monitor equipment, adjust treatment chemicals, maintain records for inspections, and coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Quality teams to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related wastewater or industrial treatment experience preferred.
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of chemistry and wastewater systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60–75 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day wastewater treatment operations across all shifts
• Monitor systems and equipment to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance
• Assign and follow up on departmental tasks and priorities
• Support preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed
• Monitor water and wastewater samples and adjust treatment chemicals accordingly
• Maintain required documentation and records for inspections and compliance
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
• Assist with training and development of wastewater associates
• Coordinate contractor activity and sludge/grease removal operations
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies as needed

Rosina Food Products is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Coordinator to support and oversee wastewater treatment operations within our food manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working hands-on with equipment and systems, and helping maintain safe and compliant operations.
