You will collect samples, test data, adjust processes, and maintain records while coordinating with teams to ensure compliance and reliable operation. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and readiness for 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: wastewater entry-level licensing or certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of the Wastewater facility during shifts (12-hour nights).
• Operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves; collect and test wastewater samples.
• Analyze lab data and adjust treatment to prevent non-compliance; maintain records.
• Coordinate with operators, facility, and Veolia management to optimize treatment methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with minor maintenance projects.
• Compile data for daily/weekly/monthly reports; may prepare data for EPA/state bodies.
• Coordinate with purchasing to order supplies; schedule third-party maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
