Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, GED, or the ability to read, write, add, subtract, and follow oral and/or basic written instructions at a level necessary for successful job performance supplemented by specialized courses or training in the operation of the equipment/instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rodding, cleaning, and televising sewer lines; inspect work sites.
• Transport equipment, tools, and materials to work locations using trucks and other equipment.
• Prepare and maintain reports, forms, and records for wastewater operations and maintenance in a data tracking system.
• Perform maintenance tasks related to wastewater collection system operation.
• Review GIS to determine wastewater line segments and manhole locations.
• Locate and repair manholes, sewer lines, cleanouts, etc.
