Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Technician for our Carrollton, TX site. You will monitor wastewater parameters, maintain water treatment equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a plant environment.

The role requires prior lab or wastewater treatment experience, the ability to operate pumps and forklifts, and the skill to work independently while maintaining data records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and following simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Experience handling lab instruments such as pH-meter and scales.
• At least two years of full-time work experience in a lab environment or wastewater treatment or hazardous waste management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hourly and daily volume of wastewater discharges and ensure parameters (pH, EC) are within specifications.
• Maintain materials and supplies for Water/Waste Treatment areas.
• Monitor and operate wastewater discharge systems and calibrate water quality equipment.
• Conduct environmental inspections and ensure safe work practices.
• Read and follow operating instructions, record data, and use safety equipment.
• Ability to read instruments, adjust valves and pumps; operate centrifugal, PD, AOD, and gear pumps.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep areas organized; transport drums with appropriate equipment.
• Exhibit leadership and work independently with minimal supervision.
