Job summary

WTL Wheatland Tube, LLC in Blytheville, AR is seeking a Waste Water Technician to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system. Responsibilities include operating pumps and valves, dosing chemicals, calibrating probes, and coordinating with the Environmental Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least five years' manufacturing experience, strong teamwork, good written and verbal communication, and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to follow health and safety practices and policies.
• Regular, full-time onsite attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system, including pumps and valves.
• Dose chemicals and calibrate instrumentation (pH probes).
• Record water flow and pH readings; coordinate with Environmental Manager.
• Perform monthly discharge sample collection and lab indicator testing.
• Inspect processes across the plant and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train hourly teammates in quality standards and procedures.
