Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Wastewater Technician / Plating Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) at our Fairmont, NC facility. The role ensures wastewater processes run efficiently, with a required wastewater certification and the ability to operate plating line equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Wastewater technician or operator certification required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing/machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and use measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and optimize wastewater systems.
• Collect and sample wastewater per shift to meet standards.
• Inspect pumps and equipment; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Perform daily utility tests and log results.
• Read BOM/drawings and communicate discrepancies with Cell Lead.
• Operate forklift/walk-behind equipment as required.
• Ensure products meet specifications and safety standards.
