Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Wastewater Technician to monitor discharges, support water treatment operations, and ensure compliance with environmental specifications.

This role requires hands-on operation of pumps, valves, sensors, and data recording, with attention to safety and routine reporting. You will manage equipment calibration, maintain monitoring equipment, and perform entrance inspections while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• At least two years of full-time work experience in a lab environment or wastewater treatment.
• Experience in hazardous waste management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence, and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hourly and daily wastewater discharge volumes to ensure parameters (pH, EC, etc.) are within specs.
• Maintain materials and supplies for Water/Waste Treatment areas.
• Monitor and operate wastewater discharge system operations.
• Calibrate and maintain water quality monitoring equipment.
• Read and follow operating instructions and record data; use safety equipment.
• Read and adjust instruments, valves, and pumps as needed.
• Transport drums using appropriate equipment; operate forklift as required.
• General housekeeping and organization of the work areas.
