Job summary

Jack Link's Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator in Perry, GA to operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system and related equipment. You will work with managers and technicians to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and plant objectives.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial wastewater experience, familiarity with NPDES and regulatory reporting, and the ability to train others. The position is full-time in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years' experience in industrial wastewater treatment.
• Knowledge of NPDES, state/federal regulations, and local ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater equipment and ancillary systems.
• Perform daily rounds and routine inspections of the treatment facility.
• Complete and retain regulatory records and logs (laboratory, incidents, NPDES, DMRs).
• Respond to emergencies including chemical spills and audits.
