Job summary

Jack Link's is seeking an Automation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment in our Perry, GA facility. You will ensure equipment reliability, support continuous improvement, and uphold safety standards.

The role covers installation, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams to upgrade automation while maintaining safe, efficient production operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi), HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, Commissioning & Calibration of robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic arms, conveyors, vision systems, actuators, and control systems.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and software; restore systems to optimal performance.
• Modify robot pathways, PLC logic, and machine parameters; support upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation improvements.
