Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Deputy Site Leader to assist the Site Leader in daily operations, maintain safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across a 1–5 MGD facility. The role includes coaching, stakeholder liaison, and ensuring reliable project delivery within a strong safety program.

The position requires a Connecticut wastewater operator certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Class III or IV Wastewater Operator Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; a degree is preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience, with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and ensure clear communication across the site.
• Support Site Leader in managing team performance and development.
• Assist in client communications and engage in client-facing activities as needed.
• Promote safety culture and conduct regular safety checks/audits.
• Mentor junior team members and develop leadership skills.
