Job summary

AlexRenew is seeking an Engineer/Planner II in Alexandria, VA to manage a portfolio of wastewater planning, design, and CIP projects. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, sanitary, environmental, mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Five years of engineering experience in wastewater design, construction or operation.
• Ability to obtain Virginia PE license; PMP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage CIP/IRR/planning projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Support procurement and contract administration.
