Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Engineer to design wastewater systems for the New England division. The role is hybrid, based in Quincy or Woburn, MA, with collaboration across civil/environmental disciplines and client engagements.

Requirements include a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree and 2+ years of wastewater design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with ArcGIS. EIT/PE path or reciprocity access is preferred.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2+ years of professional wastewater engineering design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• ArcGIS a plus.
• EIT, PE License or actively pursuing PE registration.
• Ability to effectively communicate/interact within project teams and with clients.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepares technical memoranda, reports, calculations, and designs under supervision.
• Supports project schedules and budgets with progress reporting.
• Coordinates with subconsultants and project staff.
• May lead design tasks on less complex projects.
• Reviews calculations and design concepts for quality control.
• Assists in proposals with scope, budgets, and schedules.
