Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduation; GED accepted.
• Experience supervising wastewater operations or maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and data-driven operations.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance reporting.
• Experience in maintaining and operating wastewater treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of three POTWs and respond to emergencies.
• Lead, train, and evaluate wastewater operations staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and submit required reports.
• Coordinate SCADA data usage with other teams and optimize performance.
• Manage chemical inventory, sludge disposal, and parts supply.
• Support capital projects and contractor supervision.
• Prepare operational and maintenance plans and schedule PMs.
• Collaborate with public works staff on strategic projects.
