Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3–4 years of related work experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Coursework in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and controlling wastewater treatment processes, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, pH control, polymer dosing and disinfection.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of treatment equipment, pumps, and tanks; record data and prepare reports.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; assist with repairs as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols; participate in training to enhance skills.
• Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment to control flow and treatment; adjust chemical feeds as directed.
