Job summary

HR Green is seeking an Engineer in Training in Houston, TX to work with a dynamic team on wastewater treatment, pump stations, and collection systems. You will collaborate with engineers and CAD staff, applying core engineering principles in a supportive environment that fosters growth.

The role targets candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering and 2–4 years of related experience, with proficiency in Word/Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in relevant discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
• Assists the team in the design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping stations and treatment facilities.
• Conducts field visits as necessary for various projects.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members including but not limited to CAD designers and other engineers.
