City and County of Honolulu seeks Wastewater Plant Maintenance Mechanics to keep our wastewater systems running smoothly at facilities in Honolulu, Ewa Beach, and Kailua. You will perform major overhaul and repair work on equipment at pumping stations and treatment plants.

This role requires hands-on skills with piping, valves, motors, and calibration, plus readiness to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis. Safety and reliability are essential to protecting public health and the environment.

Formación

• Experience and/or training to perform journey level repair on pumping and treatment plant equipment.
• Valid driver's license (Type 3) prior to appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform major overhaul and repair work to equipment at pumping stations and treatment plants.
• Install and repair piping systems, valves and fittings of various materials.
• Overhaul, repair, test, and operate mobile and portable equipment for emergencies and construction.
• Make repairs or renovations to buildings and structures.
• Install, align, test, adjust, and calibrate new equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
