Job summary

Veolia is seeking a lead operator to plan, organize and supervise daily activities at the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring safety and compliance. The role oversees SCADA programming, UV disinfection and maintenance across the facility and works with outside vendors to resolve issues.

This is a full-time leadership position requiring initiative, budgeting, planning, scheduling, and supervision across multiple vocations; success depends on strong technical and operational capabilities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Five years of wastewater plant maintenance/operation experience.
• Understanding of ultraviolet disinfection and Trojan 4000/6000 systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA/OT systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage operation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater facility.
• Develop goals, work plans and procedures for the division.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance with applicable laws and safety policies.
• Oversee UV disinfection operation and SCADA-related issues with vendors.
• Prepare monthly reports and manage budgets for the department.
