Veolia North America is seeking a Mechanic to maintain all wastewater treatment equipment at our facilities in the region. You will perform calibrations, oil changes, lubrication, and alignment checks to ensure compliance and reliable operation.

You will diagnose failures, decide repair scope, fabricate replacement parts when needed, and train Operators on proper operation and small maintenance. May require off-shift hours for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment procedures and the mechanical equipment necessary for wastewater treatment as well as knowledge of electricity, electrical circuitry and industrial electricity and basic electronics.
• Valid Driver's License

Responsabilités

• Maintain wastewater treatment equipment and calibrate chemical feed systems.
• Perform scheduled oil changes, lubrication, and alignment checks.
• Diagnose sources of equipment failure and determine the most effective repair approach.
• Fabricate replacement parts and coordinate with suppliers as aging equipment requires updates.
• Instruct Operators on proper operation and minor maintenance.
• Maintain a personal computer database with service history and due dates.
• May be required to come in on off-shift hours for emergencies.
