Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1–3 years' experience in water/wastewater plant operation and maintenance, or related work
• Equivalent combination of training/experience acceptable

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and replace pumps, motors, valves, meters, piping, and related equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine repair or replacement needs
• Assist with facilities and grounds upkeep, including minor building, structural, and equipment repairs
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles; transport to repair shops as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
