Job summary

Regional Planning & Coordinating Commission of Greene County, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electromechanical equipment at all WWT facilities under supervision. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3 years' experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or related trades; CDL A with Tanker Endorsement (or obtain within 4 months).

Hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 3 years in carpentry, electrical, plumbing or related trades.
• CDL A with Tanker Endorsement (or must obtain within 4 months) or equivalent licensure.
• Education and experience may not substitute mandated licensure/certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains equipment at wastewater treatment facilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Completes maintenance records and enters data into City Works system.
• Complies with safety policies and uses PPE as required.
