Job summary
Lucas County is seeking a Plant Maintenance Specialist to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair on plant equipment, pumps, motors, and related systems at our wastewater facility. The role requires operation of heavy equipment and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver License or valid driving privileges in the State of Ohio.
- CDL - Class B with air brake endorsement, or must obtain within six months.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, grounds, and structures.
- Inspect operating equipment and assist/rebuild pumps, motors, and electrical parts.
- Operate heavy equipment when required (tractor, forklift, backhoe, etc.).
- Track, record, and report maintenance activities.
